Product Marketing Executive

• Must demonstrate the ability to organize, administer, coordinate and communicate within the Marketing Team and affected stakeholders.

• Must demonstrate an ability to engage change to answer business needs and requirements, work with higher management to implement strategies and plans to execute these in a cooperative, engaged, and value added manner.

• Must demonstrate an ability to adapt and engage the existing operational environment, and bring constructive feedback for the review of methods and techniques for an optimized output using available resources. This implies gaining an understanding of both the operational constraints and the business requirements, and how the operational ecosystem functions to deliver the expected results.

Education and/or Other Requirements
Required skills:


• You will ideally have worked with software such as Adobe Photoshop, but certainly will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word (or similar packages www.openoffice.org).

• The ability to plan projects using Microsoft Office Project (or a similar package www.openworkbench.org) to present short, medium and long term planned projects and assignments.

• Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. A second European foreign language is preferred (French, German, Spanish).

• The ability to report and communicate about projects, assignments and other activities professionally and in an articulate manner. You will work in a team and depend on team members for your deliverables, so the ability to work with other professionals is expected and fundamental.

• Punctuality and attention to quality and deadlines are mandatory.

• Strong overall organisation skills.

Other:

• Experience in product development in the mobile applications space is an advantage. Experience in marketing is preferable, but for the right candidate, not mandatory.

 

You are directly responsible for

CORE POINTS

• Product validation research.

• Product improvement through research.

• Organising and planning marketing assets, and final deliverables for the product promotion.

• Liaising with Submissions Team & Trade Marketing Executive for a well adjusted delivery of required supporting materials.

• Regional & affected product research to inject defining feedback to the creative process.

• There will be daily and continuous contact and traction in the work delivered with the Creative Team.

DETAIL

• Defining marketing plans for launching the company’s titles. Clear objectives and deliverables need to be included in the product launch plan, discussed with the Editorial and Product Manager for validation and direction.

• Getting all product launch plans implemented through strict project delivery schedules and job allocations checked for progress with the Team Manager. This progress will need to be pro-actively and constantly communicated to the all stakeholders.


• Developing advertising and promotional opportunities for all company’s titles, which can involve creating, and/or managing the delivery of all needed assets for adverts/promotional activities in national, regional and specialist media. Ensuring that marketing campaigns are effectively planned to achieve the best results.

• Contributing to the success of the marketing activities related to the company’s titles by pro-actively working as part of a team. Working closely with the Creative Team to support the product presentations and cover special aspects of the deliverables when relevant. You will be responsible for securing agreed deliverables to a set schedule to the expected standard.

• Continuously keeping up-to-date with the features implemented and/or used by the company’s products, by liaising with Creative and Title Development teams, to insure successful and effective product communication to Sales.

• Coordinating the production and delivery of the Marketing Launch Pack and submission assets for each company title.

• Carrying out market and competition research to assess demand, product positioning and competition for the company titles. Responsible for creating and communicating the SWOT analysis per title, to support the Sale Team in promoting the products to the distribution channels.

• Regularly and pro-actively research competitors and all available sources to keep updated and when appropriate communicate internally.

• Planning, executing and/or monitoring research projects to meet objectives set by the Editorial and Product Manager.

• Identifying the resources to execute the tasks with the Team Manager and will be held accountable for the respect of both schedules and agreed quality.

Performance Evaluation

This will be covered in co-operation with the primary and local operational direct managers to ensure a complete and qualitative feedback to deal with all aspects of the responsibilities undertaken by the Trade Marketing Executive.
